France confirms that Chorus Pro will remain the official B2G e-invoicing platform beyond 2026, continuing to support public sector invoicing under the new mandate.

France

The French tax authority (DGFiP) has confirmed that Chorus Pro will continue operating beyond 2026, maintaining its role as the official e-invoicing platform for public sector transactions.

Since its launch in 2017, Chorus Pro has served as the public sector’s invoice exchange framework, helping government entities digitalize invoice reception, modernize accounting systems, and improve payment workflows.

With the upcoming B2B e-invoicing and e-reporting mandates (2026–2027), Chorus Pro will remain a key component for B2G invoicing.

Starting September 2026, suppliers to public entities will have two options:

  1. Use an approved Partner Dematerialization Platform (PDP) – except for specific cases such as works contracts, legal costs, and reimbursement requests.
  2. Continue using Chorus Pro, via:
    • Portal entry or manual upload
    • EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    • API submission

These existing methods will remain available for invoices sent to state and local public administrations.
