Oman Takes Further Steps Toward National E-Invoicing System
Oman advances its e-invoicing rollout as the Tax Authority launches stakeholder consultations and shares a draft data dictionary ahead of the August 2026 pilot phase.
The Oman Tax Authority (OTA) continues to advance preparations for the upcoming e-invoicing mandate, moving into a consultation-focused phase with key stakeholders.
OTA has begun initial public consultations with selected taxpayers to gather early input on the proposed e-invoicing framework. As part of this process, a draft data dictionary has been shared with affected businesses to collect feedback on the proposed data fields and reporting requirements.
These activities signal progress toward finalizing technical and operational requirements ahead of implementation. Additional consultations and formal announcements are expected in the coming months, as Oman prepares for the pilot phase scheduled to begin in August 2026.
