ZRE (Zentrale Rechnungseingangsplattform)(ZRE)
The Zentrale Rechnungseingangsplattform, the German federal government's central platform for receiving XRechnung-conformant invoices from suppliers to direct federal administration bodies; it handles B2G only.
The federal government's central invoice reception platform, operated for direct federal administration bodies. Suppliers submit XRechnung-conformant invoices via web upload, email, Peppol or web service, identified by Leitweg-ID. Its counterpart OZG-RE serves federal indirect administration and cooperating states, and most Länder run platforms of their own. The ZRE handles B2G only and plays no role in the B2B mandate.
