UAE Launches Official E-Invoicing Landing Page for CTC Mandate
The UAE Ministry of Finance launches an official e-invoicing landing page, confirming a Peppol-based 5-corner CTC model and phased rollout starting in 2026.
The UAE Ministry of Finance (MoF) has launched a dedicated e-invoicing landing page to support the country’s upcoming CTC e-invoicing mandate. This page will serve as the central official source for announcements, guidance, and updates as the mandate progresses.
The landing page outlines the objectives of the initiative and is intended to help businesses, service providers, and other stakeholders navigate the UAE’s transition to mandatory electronic invoicing.
E-Invoicing Model Confirmed
The UAE will implement a decentralized 5-corner CTC model, leveraging the Peppol network to ensure interoperability between trading parties and service providers.
- Electronic invoices will be exchanged securely between certified service providers.
- Only accredited providers will be permitted to submit invoice and reporting data to the central platform managed by the Tax Authority.
This approach is designed to support scalable, secure, and standardized invoice exchange across the country.
Updated Rollout Timeline
The MoF has further clarified the expected rollout milestones:
- Q4 2024: Service providers may begin the accreditation process. Additional details to follow.
- Q2 2025: Legislative updates to be released.
- Q2 2026: Phase 1 go-live of the e-invoicing mandate.
Stakeholders are encouraged to monitor the MoF landing page closely, as it will remain the primary reference point for all future developments related to the UAE’s CTC e-invoicing framework.
