PDP Interoperability
The requirement that any two Plateformes Agréées in France can exchange invoices and lifecycle statuses, based on shared formats, DGFiP protocol specifications, the annuaire central and mandatory testing.
The requirement that any two Plateformes Agréées can exchange invoices and lifecycle statuses regardless of which platform each business uses. It rests on the shared formats (Factur-X, UBL, CII), the common protocol specifications of the Direction Générale des Finances Publiques (DGFiP), the annuaire central for routing, and mandatory interoperability testing before registration. Many platforms also use Peppol as a transport layer, but interoperability in France is a DGFiP obligation, not a Peppol one.
