The ability of any two UAE businesses to exchange invoices regardless of which Accredited Service Provider each uses. It rests on three shared layers: the PINT AE specification as the common data format, the Peppol network and AS4 protocol as the transport, and the Peppol SMP/SML directory for discovering the recipient’s ASP. Both parties must appoint an ASP for exchange to work.
