Spain Releases Preproduction Web Services for Verifactu and Non-Verifactu Invoices
Spain’s Tax Agency releases new preproduction web services for Verifactu and non-Verifactu invoice submission and queries, enabling early testing before go-live.
The Spanish Tax Agency (AEAT) has made new web services available in the PREPRODUCTION environment to support both Veri*factu and non-Veri*factu invoicing systems.
Starting December 2, 2024, businesses and software providers can access these services to test invoice submission and query processes ahead of live implementation. The relevant access URLs are available in the updated WSDL files on the AEAT Developer Portal.
What’s New
- New invoice submission on request web services for non-Veri*factu systems
- New invoice query web services for Veri*factu systems
- Updated WSDL files and additional XSD schemas for query services
- Revised web service descriptions and validation/error handling documentation
- Updated test client, now supporting the new services
These updates allow developers to validate integrations early and prepare for Veri*factu compliance. For technical questions or feedback, AEAT has provided support via verifactu@correo.aeat.es.
