Overview
Mapa Gloves is a leading manufacturer of household and industrial rubber gloves, founded in 1948 by Marret & Paturel. Hand protection is a business built on trust, as the company itself puts it: "The hand protection industry is rooted in the absolute trust that users put in their gloves." When Mapa's Malaysia operation needed a straightforward and reliable path to LHDN e-invoicing, it needed one that fit how its team already worked rather than one that forced a new system on them.
Complyance implemented a solution that let Mapa generate e-invoices directly from CSV files, with field mapping and strict adherence to LHDN guidelines.
The Challenge
The complexity of e-invoicing showed up early. Updating director information caused unexpected delays. Data fields had to be aligned precisely with LHDN regulations, and Mapa's invoicing needs called for frequent changes to PDF templates. The original Excel template did not fully match LHDN's guidelines, so the existing setup could not carry compliance on its own.
The Solution
Efficient portal setup. A standardized, step-by-step document walked Mapa's team through the full MyInvois portal setup process.
Collaborative PDF template refinement. On-site collaboration at the Malaysia office finalized the PDF invoice templates against LHDN requirements.
Permanent resolution of testing errors. Rather than patching issues as they appeared, each testing error was traced to its root cause and given a lasting fix.
A streamlined Excel template. The template was redesigned to meet compliance requirements while staying easy for the team to use day to day.
The Impact
Mapa Gloves can now issue e-invoices seamlessly and without errors, generated straight from CSV files and mapped to LHDN's fields. Complyance continues to enhance the solution to add further capability over time.
